Lamps designed by helena tynell for the german company limburg in the 1970s. Tynell is best known for its practical designs, made for large-scale production and everyday use. However, she herself was more interested in glass sculpture, experimenting with abstract forms, using both casting, blowing and other techniques. Her works are in the permanent collections of the design museum in helsinki, the nationalmuseum in stockholm and the corning museum of glass in the usa. Lamps appear in the catalog of the limburg brand, additionally both are signed. Undoubtedly, helena's most famous projects are the aurinkopull vase or bubble lampshades for limburg lamps. And today I am coming to you with a set consisting of a hanging lamp and a wall lamp with beautiful bubble shades. These lamps were available in two versions, silver and gold, just like mine. The shades do not have cavities, the electrics have been reviewed. Lamps are working and ready to hang: ) Dimensions: Hanging lamp: Diameter - 18 cm. Lampshade height - 22 cm, total height - 65 cm. Sconce: Height - 20 cm. Width - 13 cm. Depth - 10 cm.
