Maelzel vintage french spring mechanical metronome, paquet france, finished in polished walnut/mahogany hardwood, in working order. It bears the plate of the original manufacturer "maelzel - 1815- paquet- 1846 - metronome fabriquant france" on the front panel. Small clasp holding the front panel in place and metal winding ring on the right side. Usable collector's item, in good working order. Size: it is 23 cm (9") tall. The base is 11cm (4") square.
