Designed by Britt-Louise Sundell in 1961, the iconic Mykene series for Gustavsberg features sturdy forms, a matte cream white glaze, and a distinctive brown circular relief pattern. This stoneware plate showcases a rustic yet modernist design, crafted from chamotte clay. It is marked with the deep stamp 'Gustavsberg' and their sign. Britt-Louise Sundell (1928-2011) was a prominent designer at Gustavsberg for three decades, known for her tableware and unique ceramic creations.
