Set of 4 Paganini chairs — Luciano Frigerio for Frigerio di Desio, I

Rare set of four Paganini model chairs, designed by Luciano Frigerio and produced by Frigerio di Desio (Italy, 1970s). Each chair retains its original signed medallion on its structure. The frame is made of dark-stained solid wood, with square, bevelled legs typical of the Brutalist style of the Frigerio house. It has been fully restored: cleaned, repaired for chips, sanded, and waxed. The upholstery has been completely redone by a master saddler, in full-grain calf leather dyed cognac. Hand-stitched using traditional saddle stitch, with dyed edges and a waxed finish. The original leather, too cracked after half a century of use, has been replaced in accordance with the original codes to give the set an impeccable finish while preserving its character.
