Superb pair of vintage bistro chairs from the famous French manufacturer Baumann, specifically the Tacoma model. Dating from the 1960s and 1970s, these chairs are freely inspired by the classic Windsor or Western style with their high fan-back, very comfortable thermoformed seat, and robust turned wooden legs. An essential and highly sought-after reference in retro French bistro furniture. A must-have. The price reflects the wear and tear of time, with a slightly tired patina on the seat and the spindles.
