Pair of wall sconces by Louis Kalff

This pair of two NX 40 wall sconces was designed by Louis Kalff in the 1950s and produced by Philips in the Netherlands. Each lamp has a white steel internal structure with a lightweight teak body. Each lamp features an E14 bulb socket and is covered with an opal glass tube that diffuses a soft and pleasant light. Both fixtures are wired and in working condition, suitable for 220 volts. One of the glass tubes has a small chip of a few millimetres on the underside, but the overall condition is very good and original. It is recommended to install them with a cable coming out of the wall.
