Pair of Edwardian armchairs in beech, vintage fabric

A pair of armchairs of English origin, dating from the late Victorian or early Edwardian period (circa 1890–1910), fully restored in our artisan workshop in Poland. The armchairs rest on a solid beech structure, with turned legs mounted on original brass casters — an emblematic detail of British furniture from this era. Their understated yet elegant shape, well-balanced proportions, and comfortable seating evoke the typical reading or lounge chairs found in refined English interiors. The seat and backrest have been reupholstered with authentic vintage jacquard fabric from a private collection. This is not a reissue: it is a period textile, with a tight weave and classic floral pattern, perfectly in keeping with the original style of these pieces. The wood has been carefully cleaned and refinished, preserving its patina and signs of age to maintain the authenticity of the whole. Each element of these armchairs has been treated with the utmost respect for its history and original craftsmanship.
