Set of 6 "Sled" Chairs by Baumann – Rosewood – 1960s. Description. A magnificent and rare set of 6 iconic chairs from the Baumann factory, model "Sled", dating from the 1960s. These chairs stand out for their elegant rosewood structure, featuring a deep and contrasting grain that is absolutely stunning (see detail photos). The sled base adds an airy and organic line, typical of the "Organic Modern" design of the era. Condition: Structure: In very good overall condition, stable and solid. The wood has retained its shine. Seat: The padding and fabric have been recently redone. They feature a textured fabric in brick/orange that perfectly complements the warm tones of the rosewood. Ready to be placed around a dining table, they will bring a chic and authentic vintage touch to your interior. Dimensions. Width: 48 cm. Depth: 44 cm. Total height: 80 cm. Seat height: 44 cm. There is a thin board under the chairs to support the foam for added comfort. The seat has been well redone with new webbing.
