Large stoneware jug — La Colombe pottery, 1970s

Large pouring jug in glazed stoneware, produced by the La Colombe workshop of Madeleine Brault (Orriule, Pyrénées-Atlantiques). Typical tachist decor of the house: drips and splashes in khaki/brown-black on a satin greige background, base in raw red-brown clay. Impressed dove stamp under the base. Height: 17 cm - Width: 9 cm - Depth: 9 cm. No defects, cracks or chips. The interior shows signs of use (coffee deposits), without affecting the durability of the piece.
