ST MEDARD Set of 12 knives, antique fillet model, violin-shaped, silver-plated, 21 cm

This superb set of 12 knives is made of silver-plated metal. This classic model with an antique pattern is violin-shaped. Made of silver plate by the Saint Médard silversmith, this knife features silverware and a stainless steel blade marked "Saint Médard". The Saint Médard silversmith specialised in the manufacture of cutlery: this silversmith's house has been renowned for its classic designs since the early 19th century. The pieces are marked "St MEDARD" and bear the hallmark "SM". In good condition, they show signs of use and traces of oxidation. These knives measure 21 cm in length. I note wear and small chips on some blades.
