Art Deco Buffet

Art deco oak sideboard: this is the old upper part of a set dating from the 40s. It was sanded, then lightly waxed – satin finish. The upper tray was not visible at the time, so it was made of plywood and "inadequate", we replaced it with a pine board, part of which is painted blue (libéron – bleu de sèvre), the other part is tinted and made homogeneous with the whole furniture. Inside, the boards have been sanded – some traces persist and visible in the photos. The three openings each have their key, different but interchangeable. Two are very pretty and art deco style, the third is more common. The fittings are original and have a nice décor. A space-saving piece of furniture with beautiful proportions.
