'Ercol' armchair with a Windsor style stickback design. Manufactured during the 1960s by Ercol at their factory in High Wycombe. It is model No 472 and appears in the 1965 catalog as the Double Bow Fireside Chair. Made in beautifully stained elm wood. Comes with an optional original cushion, can also be used with a sheepskin. In very good condition with nice patina marks on the arms.
