Italian MARA brasss&glass coffee table 1983

Elegant Italian coffee table by MARA, designed and manufactured in the 1970s. This table features its original thick glass top combined with a refined structure in dark chromed metal and solid brass details. The design is characteristic of 1970s Italian modernism, combining clean architectural lines with luxurious materials. The piece was purchased new by its first owners (my parents) in 1983/1984 and has remained in the same family ever since. It has been carefully preserved throughout the years. The glass is original and in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. The brass elements show a light natural patina consistent with age, enhancing its authentic character. Signed "Mara" on the brass, confirming authenticity. A timeless and sophisticated piece, ideal for a modern, mid-century, Hollywood Regency or postmodern interior.
