Two-part sideboard, Art Nouveau period, from the Nancy school in the spirit of Gauthier Poinsignon's productions. Appears to be made of mahogany (I am not a professional). Front opening with 5 doors, one of which is beveled glass, and 4 drawers. Niche between the two parts with a mirror (the mirror is pitted). Beautiful hardware. 3 original keys provided. Upper part decorated with a removable, sculpted pediment. Slightly arched legs. There are a few dents on the left upright of the sideboard and on the right leg, woodworm holes on the bottom of the cabinet, and the whole, although in good general condition, has spent about ten years in a healthy shed in offices and will need to be restored or at least stripped and re-waxed, I think. Dimensions: Dimensions: Total height approximately 241 cm - Lower part: height: 99.5 cm, dimensions of the top 55 cm x 149 cm - Upper part: 127 cm high + curved pediment which is 14.5 cm at the highest, or 141.5 cm in total. Width 145.5 cm x 36 cm deep (NB: the 1st complete photo of the assembled piece of furniture is not that of mine, I found it on the advertisement of a seller of an identical piece of furniture on another site and allow me to offer it for all useful purposes to visualize the assembled piece of furniture but it is not the piece of furniture that I am selling, which is currently stored in two parts and that I can assemble alone). I am also selling in two other advertisements: a large mirror, as well as a set of table + 6 caned chairs, originally part of the same set that has been in my family for at least 80 years.
