Rare Mercurio Table Lamp by Peppe di Giuli for Sirrah Italy 1971

Rare table lamp or light sculpture designed by Peppe di Giuli in 1971 for Sirrah Italy. Unusual lamp that is named after the planet Mercury. The lamp holds two halogen light bulbs that shine the light towards the chrome plated sphere and are reflected there. The base of the lamp is made of white lacquered aluminium casting. The arch is made of red lacquered steel. Nice decorative piece of Italian lighting. The lamp is in very good original condition. Minimal traces of wear.
