Set of 6 Louis XV chairs in wood and caning.

Set of six Louis XV style chairs, probably dating from the first half of the 20th century, featuring curved legs and a delicately carved medallion backrest with floral motifs. Made of solid wood with a warm grain — likely beech or walnut — they showcase hand-woven caning on the seat and backrest. Their classic and timeless elegance will naturally fit around a large dining table or in a mix & match setting in a living room. Condition: The chairs are healthy, stable, and perfectly functional for everyday use. The wood has a beautiful, even patina of use, marked by a few superficial micro-scratches and slight color variations. The rattan caning is well-tensioned and retains its strength, showing only very discreet signs of aging consistent with their age. A characterful set, ready to be installed.
