Pair of bevelled mirror wall sconces – Neo-Renaissance style – 19th century

For sale: a superb pair of two-armed wall sconces from the Napoleonic III era (second half of the 19th century). Style: Neo-Renaissance with very rich decoration including masks (sculpted faces) and cherubs (putti) at the top. Feature: Central mirror surrounded by small bevelled mirrors creating beautiful reflections. Material: Bronze or regulus with an antique patina. Condition: Good aesthetic condition. Electrical revision is needed (old wires) and replacement of plastic sleeves for a perfect finish.
