Large Art Deco modernist box for cigars/cigarettes, made of wood with lovely assembly and cut details (rounded corners), featuring a thick bevelled mirror lid with a stylised wooden ball handle flanked on each side by a small chrome metal ball. Model attributed to Jacques Adnet (1900-1984), a famous French modernist architect and designer, functionalist and minimalist. 1940s/1950s. Very high quality and in very good condition, just the mirror is slightly tarnished!.
