Clic-Clac quarter turn table ashtray

Surprising and rare ashtray of the 60s / 70s, brand clic-clac. Made in France, this registered and patented model has two particularities. First, its button on the lid which, when pressed, opens the black compartment of the ashtray and drops the butts at the bottom to avoid the smell of cold tobacco. The characteristic noise of the compartment, when it opens when the button is pressed and when it closes when it is released, is at the origin of the name of the clic-clac brand. The second originality lies in the lid that opens and closes in just a quarter turn, thanks to two notches at the top of the receptacle. This model, original and ingenious, is in excellent condition: its particularly shiny quality chrome has only a few scratches of use (photo 1), two small strokes on the lid (photo 6) and there are some small traces at the bottom of the receptacle (photo 9), which are not visible since they are hidden by the black compartment. A beautiful decorative vintage piece, which will be perfectly highlighted on your coffee table.
