Description
Pair of teak wood chairs made in denmark in the 1960's. The structure is built in solid teak wood with a seat upholstered in traditional loom fabric in black spike. The backrest is made of teak sheet to achieve its elegant and ergonomic curvature. It highlights the strength of the vein throughout the solid piece in contrast to the pattern of the fabric. They are in an excellent general state of conservation after having been restored and re-upholstered. They maintain slight scars on the veneer of the backs according to their age. The wood has been sanded and polished by hand to finally be treated with oil-wax of vegetable origin and thus achieve a silky touch throughout the piece.
