Table or writing desk in Louis XV style, lightened walnut.

Small Louis XV style walnut table with 1 drawer in the apron. Height 77cm X length 80cm X depth 59cm. Traditional construction and assembly with dowels. Mounted on curved legs with a chevron patterned top based on marquetry principles. Originally dark, it has been stripped before being finished with colourless wax and brushed to lighten it. The wood is sound and the whole is stable.
