Squilinder coffee table

This coffee table was designed and thought with the idea of returning to simple, clean, minimalist lines and in a way to childhood. Two of the most well-known geometric shapes: the circle and the square. We have always played with these shapes, trying as a baby to fit the square into the circle... A few years later, I wanted to show that it was indeed possible to fit them together! To highlight these shapes, I opted for rye straw, which offers unique reflections. The square inlaid edge to edge offers a smooth appearance while the cylinder is dressed in herringbone patterns adding relief to its original shape. The tops are made of oak with a varnish finish guaranteeing excellent resistance to shocks, stains and time. This coffee table is therefore elegant, simple and modern, and of absolute solidity and robustness which will stand out in your interior and bring singularity because there is only one in the world! This unique piece, made of black rye straw, can be made in a different shade, in different sizes, and even in different shapes. Everything is possible and can be made to measure.
