Pair of covered ceramic vintage trembler cups

Original pair of covered cups of the trembleuse type, accompanied by their matching saucers with handles. Each cup has a large vertical handle and a lid that helps keep coffee, tea, or hot chocolate warm for longer. The hollow saucers provide good stability while giving the whole set a particularly original silhouette. The glazed ceramic features beautiful shades of black, blue-grey, and white, with a flamed and crackled decoration reminiscent of workshop ceramics and Vallauris creations from the 1960s-1970s.
