Vintage black painted chest of drawers

This is a stylish chest of drawers which dates to the mid 20th century. Made of mixed woods, mdf and plywood it is an iconic looking piece which will provide essential storage space in any home. The chest has six drawers which are finished with stylized gold hoop handles. The drawer interiors are in clean condition and the chest is set on simple tapered legs. I have hand painted the chest in my own mix of chalk based black paint. The paintwork has been left undistressed for a clean and contemporary look and then waxed for protection. It has a smooth very low sheen finish. Condition. The chest is generally in good structural condition with minor cosmetic marks of age and use. The handles are a little tarnished and there are a couple of small marks beneath the paintwork to the top of the chest and a small chip to the wood at the back of the chest. Measurements. Height- 102.5cms. Width- 64.5cms. Depth- 39cms not including the handles. The measurements are taken at the widest points.
