Large walnut chest

This very old renaissance style walnut chest has been completely restored and revamped in the workshop. It was extremely damaged. Some parts of the furniture had to be rebuilt. Despite this, the wood being too damaged on the outside, we chose to patinate it white. The interior of the trunk remained raw, it was only cleaned and waxed. The top has been finely sanded and waxed. This large chest is ideal to be placed at the end of a bed or sofa to store cushions, blankets, sheets, etc. You can also use it as a bench.
