2 old armchairs 'Emmanuelle' in wicker

Superb pair of vintage "emmanuelle" armchairs in the shape of a throne composed of a base and a round seat with armrests and high rounded flared backs. All covered with a delicate rattan / wicker lace woven. Also called "pomare" armchair, the name of the prince of the last royal family of tahiti who was found dead in this throne-shaped armchair in the 18th century. It also takes its name from the film emmanuelle, an erotic feature film from 1974 that caused a scandal in france, making this chair cult.
