Plateau with handles, moulded glass and brass, Verlys, vintage Art Deco 1930-1940.

Antique service platter, Verlys France manufacture, Art Deco production circa 1930-1940, made of frosted pressed moulded glass with a radiant rosette design, hidden in relief on the reverse at the centre. The platter is mounted in a brass frame that was formerly silver-plated, now desilvered. Total width with handles is 35.5 cm, diameter without is 28 cm, with a height of approximately 3 cm. Overall good condition. The metal shows signs of wear and oxidation, with some remnants of the silver plating, and the glass has a few discreet usage scratches. Weighs approximately 2-2.5 kg.
