Vintage design. Table designed by Franco Poli for Bernini in the 1970s, a clear example of the structural and material research that defines the company's production at that time. The base is designed as a true wooden architecture, constructed using a combination of different woods: solid walnut, plywood beech, and ebony, used in minimal quantities to create a marked chromatic contrast and enhance the perception of volumes. Each material is employed according to a precise functional and visual logic, where weight, colour, and structural role contribute to the overall composition. The load-bearing structure consists of two vertical elements that generate an orthogonal system on which the entire project develops. The components are assembled using visible wooden dowels and metal pins, clearly illustrating the construction principle and reinforcing the technical identity of the table. The thick transparent glass top rests on dedicated supports and leaves the underlying structure fully visible, highlighting the relationship between structure and space while visually lightening an object of strong presence. Condition: excellent overall condition, minor signs on the wooden structure. Dimensions: length 240 cm – depth 85 cm – height 74 cm.
