1960s Czechoslovak Rattan Wall Coat & Hat Rack, ÚLUV

Elegant Czechoslovak wall coat rack dating from the 1960s, attributed to ÚLUV. The rack is handmade from bent cane and wicker and combines five practical coat hooks with an upper shelf for hats and accessories. Its beautiful wrapped joints and curved construction reflect the Czechoslovak tradition of combining modern design with skilled craftsmanship and natural materials. The piece retains its warm original vintage character, with age-related marks and variations in colour consistent with more than sixty years of use. Carefully cleaned and checked in our Brno workshop. A practical and highly decorative piece for an entrance hall, bedroom or dressing room.
