Robin Day armchair "HILLESTAK" 1950

HILLESTAK armchair model by Robin DAY from 1950. Stackable model (hence its name) produced in England by HILLE and Co. Rare model in good structural condition (no play in the legs or structure); stable model. Original varnish showing signs of use and a small chip on the front of the backrest and seat (two blue marks on the seat). Seat and backrest made of oak veneered plywood, fixed to an oak structure; original steel tips. Dimensions: height 730mm (seat 460mm); width 490mm; depth 490mm. Delivery in Paris possible in person for 30EUR (once every 6 weeks; please consult me).
