ARP Rotaflex globe pendant light, 1950.

This minimalist chandelier by Yasha Heifetz is made using Rotaflex, a process that molds an object (primarily in the lighting industry) by unwinding a long, heated cellulose acetate wire that is then unwound into a shape. Ivory-tinted, its soft, warm light further highlights the unique textured aspect of its ovoid surface. This piece is the largest version of this model. Although quite rare, we have a perfectly identical pair in stock.
