Hector Guimard Parisian metro medallion in fiber plaster

Hector guimard was an architect: who is today the best-known exponent of the french art nouveau style of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The metro shield pictured above was not sculpted by guimard and is a replica of his original model. It is made of plaster. They were not mass produced and only a few were made. They are the same size as the originals. The finishing color has not been done but it is possible to give it the oxidized appearance of the original model or others.
