18th century sideboard

18th century farm sideboard, in chestnut and oak. Still used a very short time ago, in "original" conditions. More than signs of use, this piece of furniture bears the marks of time past and remains a functional example of a time when we did not throw away, we repaired as best we could. The published photos will show you the repairs carried out over the years, the marks linked to the stay of this buffet in an old farm in the Basque country... So damp. So many "scars" which in our eyes contribute to the simple beauty of this piece of furniture which has a soul. To make it immediately usable in any type of interior, this sideboard has been completely stripped, washed, treated...etc. and stained (matt transparent) to maintain a natural wood color finish. Dimensions width 118 cm, depth 45 cm, height 94 cm. Note that its relatively small size makes it very easy to insert into all kinds of spaces (entrance, living room, kitchen, restaurants, etc.) offering good storage space, and that it is easy to imagine it in a contemporary or old interior, city apartment or country house.
