Very nice flower holder in glazed stoneware, signed G. Robin under the base. I really like its round and original shape as well as its glazing in shades of brown, beige, and grey, with beautiful variations in texture and colour. Its numerous holes allow for small bouquets of fresh or dried flowers, or lovely arrangements of branches. A charming piece that can also be displayed alone as a decorative or collectible object. Dimensions: approximately 12 cm in height × 13 cm in diameter and weighs 647g. Material: glazed stoneware. Signature: G. Robin under the base. Condition: very good overall condition, with the irregularities in texture and glaze typical of handmade pieces. About Georges Robin. Georges Robin (1932-2023) was a potter-ceramicist based in Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye, a prominent centre of French ceramics. He took over Jean Maubrou's workshop in the late 1950s and developed a significant production of glazed stoneware, distributed throughout France. A lovely signed piece of French ceramics from the workshop of Georges Robin.
