19th century popular art domed trunk box with dominoté paper and painted canvas

Chest circa 1860-1880, curved lid, covered with painted and waxed canvas like that of horse-drawn carriage hoods, lined with iron, and lined with a marvelous hand-printed wallpaper with fine pink stripes and diamonds. The black green color with its brush strokes, magnificent. Chest in very good condition, note that the metal strip attached to the front was probably replaced by a wooden strip consolidated a long time ago and which bears traces. Interior in perfect condition. Poetic and delicate object to treat affectionately. Modest dimensions: length 25cm, depth 14.5cm, height at top of lid 21cm. Ice&sistible.
