Wicker rattan magazine holders

This elegant rattan magazine holder dating from the 60s or 70s takes its originality from its handle which is in the other direction compared to the majority of magazine holders, from the middle of one large side to the middle of the other. It is in good condition, still solid and stable with a beautiful golden color and the original varnish that is still present. A strand of the braiding in the lower part is a little "frayed" at the level of a vertical pillar. Probably a few other marks or stains but difficult to know what is original and what is the sign of its age and the use that has been made of it over the decades on a wicker object. Despite a good dust removal, there is probably a little dust to remove (vacuum cleaner plus toothbrush) on the braided parts in the lower part. The wooden bottom of the magazine holder, where the slices of the magazines come to rest, would perhaps deserve a light layer of varnish that I propose to apply (free of charge it goes without saying) if you wish, let's talk about after order. It measures 48 cm in length, 26 cm in width and 66 cm in height (including handle). It weighs just over 1.3 kg.
