Arne Jacobsen Chair Mod. 3103 "First edition"

Chair mod. 3103 created by arne jacobsen in 1950. It is the first model of chair with a multi-layer shell of plywood and cotton, wood veneer created by the designer. This series is a first edition dating from the very beginning of this production (1950/1959) with variations visible especially in the method of fixing the seat to the base (see photo) the veneer here is in teak the production of this model, sometimes nicknamed "hammer chair" was taken over between 1960 and 69. This model has no longer been produced since unlike the 3100 series (ant chair) and especially the 3107. It is therefore rarer than other fritz hansen productions. The condition is exceptional for objects of... 73 years the base is covered in black plastic which is neither torn, worn nor faded. The condition of the seats can be described as "very good".
