Mid-Century Oak Extendable Dining Table by J. Mortensen for Heltborg, Denmark, 1960s

The oak table designed by john mortensen for the danish factory heltborg mobler in the 1960s. The table is characterized by a unique solution for the table top base. The length of the tabletop can be increased thanks to two extensions. The initial diameter is 130 cm, it can be increased to 180 cm or 230 cm. The table has undergone carpentry renovation. Cleaned of old coatings, painted with oak stain, finished with a strong semi-matt varnish.
