Rare "Trompette" pendant lamp by Glashütte Limburg – 1970s

Superb example of Mid-Century Modern design from the 1970s, this Trumpet pendant by Glashütte Limburg is a rare masterpiece, hand-blown. Made by the renowned glassmakers of Glashütte Limburg, each lamp is unique. This model is made of transparent crystal adorned with delicate white opal flecks, inspired by the Murano style. Materials: hand-blown translucent crystal embellished with delicate white opal flecks, tube, decorative brass fittings and screws, bakelite socket. Dimensions: height 50 cm, diameter 40 cm, cord length 100 cm. Lighting: 1 E27 bulb, max. 100 W, 110/220 V. Manufacturer: Glashütte Limburg, Germany. Period: 1970s – Mid-Century Modern. Condition: Excellent vintage condition, with a small chip at the base (see last photo).
