Vintage Soriana Lounge Chairs by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for Cassina, 1970s

Iconic 1970s designed lounge chairs that still looks great in most interiors. This classic design combines a hard chromed metal frames that encompasses a soft comfortable large cushions. The ingeniousness of this design uses two fixed wheels and two adjustable wheels - Lifting the chair using the frame/handle makes it very simple to roll around the floor and position them easily. These lounge chairs are an early Cassina production of the design. The upholstery does show signs of age and use which we have taken into consideration when pricing them. The chairs were reupholstered in the 1980s but that upholstery is now showing some signs of age and use. Both chairs show signs of age and use, A few small holes and light marks, Some fading of the fabric, The fabric on a few of the buttons has worn away (we have three new buttons that were given to us by the previous owner that will be sent with them)
