HISTORICAL TESTIMONY (Circa 1945-1950) Manufactured between 1945 and 1950, this car belongs to a fascinating period. In the aftermath of the Second World War, steel was a rare commodity, rationed and reserved for reconstruction. The ingenuity of creators like Fernand Beaumont was to elevate solid wood to create luxury toys, where industrial metal production had come to a halt.
