A charming Austrian mid-century shaker set from the 1950s, featuring a cute monkey holding salt and pepper shakers. A humorous design by Walter Bosse, made by Hertha Baller in Vienna, Austria. Made of blackened brass, in good condition with a lovely patina. One of our favourite Walter Bosse items, alongside the stackable hedgehog ashtrays. Please note two fine hairline cracks on the top of one shaker's lid. This does not affect its use.
