Magnificent storage box or jewellery case made of genuine onyx with fascinating natural shades (aqua green, honey, and earthy brown). A character piece, very heavy and high quality, perfect for Regency, Classic, or Curiosity Cabinet style decor. Provenance: Italy, 1960s-1970s Features & Condition Materials: Natural stone (Onyx) and gilded brass mount. Design: Beveled lid, polished interior, and four claw feet crafted in gilded metal. Condition: Excellent overall condition. The hinge mechanism works perfectly. Note the natural veins of the stone that make each piece unique.
