Old solid wood footring bench

The stool is in very good condition. It was made from solid fruit wood planks. The asasseling was made with simple nails. This type of small stools were often made by skilled handymen, who used old boards that they had on hand. They are a testimony to a time when recycling was a no-brainer, long before the advent of the consumer society... They are, in fact, unique pieces. This one was simply waxed with natural beeswax and for maintenance, it will be enough to rub it from time to time with a clean cloth. It is solid and stable. It dates from the very beginning of the 20th century.
