Set of 4 vintage office or dining chairs, two in white and 2 in darker wood color. Chairs have wooden frame, cane seat and backrest, and tubular chrome base. These chairs were produced in around the 1970s in Italy. The Cesca chair was designed in 1928 by Marcel Breuer. In that time, it was the first such tubular-steel frame caned seat type of chair that was mass-produced. One of the original ones from that time sits in MoMA. It is known as one of the most important chairs of the 20th century. Condition: The chairs are in vintage condition with original patina. Chrome has some rusty marks, and the wooden frame has some scratches. There are some spots on the cane itself. Please check the photos for details, and feel free to ask for more if needed. !Note: One of the chairs with darker wood frame has a slightly different seat shape.
