Louis XV style commode 1900

Charming and elegant antique chest of drawers in Louis XV style from the late 19th century, painted in marsh grey with a patinated and waxed finish. The piece is healthy, stable, and solid. Made of solid wood, beautifully crafted with dowels, it is heavy. The top has been sanded to raw wood with a waxed finish; a slight stain should be noted (see photo). The drawers are fitted with their original bronze handles. They slide very easily and are lined with a floral fabric on a black background. It should be noted that all these vintage pieces bear traces of their previous lives despite a long and careful renovation. Old woodworm holes are present at the back of the piece and on the drawers.
