Louis XV style chest of drawers 1900

Charming and elegant antique Louis XV style chest of drawers from the end of the 19th century painted in marsh gray, patinated and waxed finish. Healthy, stable and solid furniture. Solid wood, beautiful pegged construction, heavy. The top has been sanded raw wood, waxed finish, a slight stain is to be noted (see photo) The drawers are fitted with their original bronze handles. They slide very easily and are upholstered in a black background floral fabric. Note, all of these vintage pieces of furniture retain traces of their previous lives despite a long and careful renovation. Old woodworm holes are present at the back of the furniture and on the drawers. Deformations of the wood are present on the front of the drawers. Dimensions: l80xp49xh107. Height of the feet 24cm.
