Attention lovers of Brittany and unique objects: this bowl is a gem. Discovered at a flea market, this white ceramic bowl boldly reinvents the famous Breton bowl. In place of the traditional first names, a dynamic and artistic scene: a Breton woman in a headdress and navy blue coat seems to be crossing a windswept Breton quay, under a sky punctuated by yellow suns with the lighthouse and the boat. The decoration is painted on two sides of the bowl. The lines are spontaneous, almost sketched, evoking the free spirit of a travel diary. Every detail, from the gestures to the color, reflects unique expertise. The piece is signed under the base with a monogram in the shape of a star or a stylized "A" - the mysterious mark of a contemporary artist. Height: 7 cm Diameter: 15.5 cm Very good vintage condition. No chips, no cracks. Bright colors and glossy enamel. Light wear under the base and cracks from time on the bottom, typical of old pieces (see photos).8 A great gift idea for a lover of Brittany, or a collector of modern ceramics.
