Brutalist lamp in olive wood 1970

Unique piece. Large brutalist lamp or small floor lamp, monoxyl, in solid olive wood, waxed original. Very heavy, very stable (h foot 73.5cm with socket, d 26cm / h lamp 99cm with lampshade, p 32cm). Diffuses a soft and intimate light that contrasts with the brutalism of this splendid piece of wood, patinated by time, hazelnut color, in perfect original condition. Natural reliefs of wood very sculptural. The base, which seems to float, has a carved cavity in which a plant can be placed in its pot (diam 7cm, flared). With a plant, at its base, ivy type, drooping, the whole comes to life, very flower power. Blow of heart assured! Custom-made raffia shade on black iron structure (h30cm, diam 25.5cm / 29.5cm base) New brass socket, wires (l232cm) and original switch + plug (controlled ok).
