Italian space age chandelier with Murano glass ombre shades, 1970s

This spectacular space age six-lights italian chandelier comes from italy from the 1970s. It features six murano ombre glass shades secured by chrome-plated rings mounted to double arms outgoing from the central core. The structure is high-quality chrome-plated steel and six lights covered by hand-blown clear and milky white murano glass "lattimo" lampshades. The so-called "lattimo" is a special glass processing, and the term comes from the italian word "latte" or "milk". Large chrome plated structures with clear and white glass create the remarkable effect of light floating in the mist. The lamp is in very good vintage condition with minor age marks on the steel.
